Who We Are

Wicked Good Cards™ is a Maine-based 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to creating and donating handmade cards that uplift, encourage, and connect people across Maine. EIN: 33-4871340

What We Do

We create and deliver handmade cards to care facilities, shelters, and community organizations across Maine. Cards are donated to our nonprofit partners and placed where people in those communities can choose a card to share with someone they care about. Caregivers, volunteers, and family members can also use the cards to share a thoughtful message with the people they support.

Why We Do It

Our mission is rooted in the belief that dignity is supported when people are seen as whole individuals, not only by the circumstances or diagnoses they carry. Patients, residents, survivors, and community members remain parents, grandparents, daughters, sons, siblings, friends, and partners with identities and relationships that matter deeply.

A handmade card may seem small, but choosing one — and choosing it for someone you care about — is an act of dignity and independence. That moment of choice carries agency, identity, and a sense of self that matters at every stage of life.

By making Wicked Good Cards easy to access, people in the communities we serve can choose a card to share with someone important to them, whether it’s a birthday message to a grandchild, a thank-you to a nurse, or a note of love to a family member. And when a card is given by someone within their care community, it can help them feel seen, valued, and supported.

Kindness in Circulation: Donated cards are placed within each partner site. People in the communities we serve can choose a card to share with anyone they care about. Families, caregivers, and staff can also use the cards to support patients, residents, and their loved ones.

Rooted in Maine: Every Wicked Good Card is crafted right here in Maine. We believe meaningful change starts close to home. We believe that local connection has the power to create lasting change—when Mainers lift one another up, good things grow.

Crafted with Care: We use durable, non-toxic materials and permanent adhesives to ensure quality and safety, especially for cards delivered to hospitals and care facilities. Even our glitter paper is specialty no-shed, offering a safe bit of sparkle.

Turning Paper into Purpose: Every donation helps turn creativity into real human connection. Your support funds materials, outreach, and card delivery across Maine, ensuring people in our partner communities have handmade cards they can choose, give, and receive. One hundred percent of proceeds directly support our nonprofit mission.

Where We Make an Impact

We are working to establish our first partner relationships now. As soon as cards begin reaching their new homes, we will share delivery updates in the Giving Gallery so supporters can see the impact and joy their donations create.
