Card Donations Currently Paused

We’re grateful for your interest in donating handmade cards. At this time, we are not accepting new card donations while we focus on placing existing cards within care communities. If you’d like to be notified when new donation opportunities open, please complete the interest form below.

Donate Cards

Handmade cards help people celebrate, and offer gratitude, encouragement, and love in moments that matter.

Wicked Good Cards accepts donated handmade cards that meet our quality and safety standards. We deliver cards to nonprofit care facilities, shelters, and community organizations. Once delivered, cards are placed where people within those communities can choose one to share with someone they care about.

Donations help ensure cards are accessible when someone wants to connect with a loved one.

What to Know Before Donating Cards

At this time, card donation intake is paused. The information below outlines the standards we use when accepting cards and what future donation opportunities will require.

Wicked Good Standards

Suitable creative techniques include paper art, pen and ink, watercolor, and other flat, secure mediums. To help ensure donated cards can be safely and joyfully used in care environments, we follow these guidelines:

  • Folded greeting cards in standard sizes (A2, A6, or A7) with corresponding envelope

  • Made with heavyweight cardstock (minimum 80 lb cover / 216 gsm or equivalent)

  • Thoughtfully designed and well-constructed

  • Created with secure, non-shedding materials (no loose glitter, sequins, confetti, or flaking elements)

  • Free from embellishments that may pose risks (jewels, cotton balls, or other loose items)

  • Adhesives need to be safe, non-toxic paper-craft adhesives (for example, precision craft glues such as Bearly Art or tape runners like AdTech). No hot glue, staples, tape, rubber cement, school glue, or other unstable adhesives

  • Durable for repeated handling in care settings

  • Finished and presentation-ready, suitable for gifting without additional preparation

  • Free from religious, political, or adult-themed content

  • Blank inside

Donation Amounts

Donated cards are most helpful when provided in groups of 5 or more, each paired with an envelope. This allows us to place cards thoughtfully within care communities and ensures they’re easy for partner organizations to use.
