Wicked Good Cards is built by a small team with backgrounds in systems, operations, and creative work, focused on making handmade cards available within care communities.

Shannon Cyr
Founder & President
Shannon is the Founder of Wicked Good Cards. She created the organization to make handmade cards available within care communities, supporting connection across patients, residents, families, caregivers, staff, and volunteers.
She brings over 20 years of experience building learning, content, and operational systems that make complex work clear, structured, and scalable by combining systems thinking with a strong creative and editorial lens. She has led global programs and built scalable workflows at Amazon Web Services and Microsoft’s Bing Images.
As President, Shannon leads the organization’s strategy, standards, and operations, shaping how cards are sourced, documented, and distributed to nonprofit partners.

Michael Cyr
Co-founder & Treasurer
Michael is the Co-Founder and Treasurer of Wicked Good Cards, bringing a steady, practical perspective to the organization.
With over 25 years of experience in software engineering and systems development, Michael is a lead software engineer known for building reliable systems and approaching complex challenges with clarity and foresight.
As Treasurer, he oversees financial stewardship with a focus on sustainability, ensuring decisions are practical, responsible, and aligned with the mission.
Michael is also known for his strong editorial eye and thoughtful approach, helping refine ideas and support the long-term health of the organization—with a wicked good sense of humor along the way.

Michelle Lasure
Board of Directors | Secretary
Michelle is a collaborative leader who brings thoughtful governance, organizational clarity, and a strong commitment to service to Wicked Good Cards.
With experience in board leadership and volunteer roles, Michelle has supported youth, families, and educators through service on the board of a competitive youth soccer league and in leadership roles within a Parent-Teacher Organization. Her work in these settings reflects a steady focus on planning, communication, and teamwork in support of shared goals.
Professionally, Michelle is a Senior Technical Curriculum Development Manager at Amazon Web Services, where she brings strengths in leadership, strategy, and organizational effectiveness. Her career centers on building clear structures, supporting teams, and guiding complex work with intention. She is also a Certified Zentangle® teacher and the owner of Mindful Ink Drawing, where she offers mindful drawing classes and workshops that encourage creativity, reflection, and connection.
As Secretary of the Board, Michelle supports Wicked Good Cards through strong documentation, governance practices, and organizational support. Her attention to detail and collaborative approach help ensure the organization operates with clarity, accountability, and purpose.

Debbie Chartier
Board of Directors | VP Nonprofit Partnerships
Debbie brings creativity, operational insight, and people-centered leadership to Wicked Good Cards through decades of hands-on experience and community connection.
With more than 20 years as a professional hairstylist and independent business owner, Debbie has built her career around trust, consistency, and care. She remains a dedicated student of her craft, participating in continuing education through industry classes and hair shows to refine her skills and stay connected to evolving trends.
In addition to her creative work, Debbie manages all aspects of her independently owned business, including scheduling, inventory, marketing, banking, and daily operations. Her work is grounded in relationship building, and she has cultivated a loyal clientele by helping people feel seen, valued, and respected.
As VP of Nonprofit Partnerships, Debbie supports relationships with nonprofit partners and helps coordinate card deliveries as Wicked Good Cards continues to grow.
Her warmth, generosity, and deep commitment to community help ensure handmade cards are delivered with care, intention, and respect across Maine.
