This donation includes ten handmade greeting cards, split evenly between two designs: five bird message cards and five Make a Wish cards. The cards were received by Wicked Good Cards on December 23, 2025 and accepted on December 22, 2025.
The bird message cards feature small blue birds arranged in a simple line, accompanied by musical notes and the phrase “This is my message to you.” The imagery is light and straightforward, with a calm rhythm that feels conversational rather than symbolic.
The Make a Wish cards feature star and wand designs, with variations that include a single starburst or a wand paired with scattered stars and the message “Make a Wish.”
The imagery does not signal a specific occasion, which allows the cards to be used in many everyday moments. A card can be chosen to acknowledge effort, offer encouragement, share recognition, or simply reach out in a small and approachable way.
Cards like these work well across a wide range of care settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, long term care communities, and family support organizations. Because the designs rely on familiar symbols rather than complex themes, they are easy to select in shared environments where people may have different needs, relationships, or comfort levels. Patients and residents may choose them to connect with family or friends. Caregivers, staff, or volunteers may use them as part of routine care or informal communication.
Each card has a blank interior, which supports personal choice in how it is used. The sender decides what to write, how much to share, and what feels appropriate for the moment. That flexibility is especially important in care communities, where no single message fits every situation.
These cards have been accepted into inventory and will be distributed by category based on partner needs and availability.
