On September 12, 2026, Wicked Good Cards accepted 10 handmade birthday cards donated by Mainely Cards LLC. Each card includes a coordinating white embossed envelope and has been individually packaged in a protective sleeve. The cards were reviewed and approved according to Wicked Good Cards quality standards.
All 10 cards feature a slice of birthday cake topped with a single candle and a small white swirl of frosting. Happy Birthday! appears above the cake in lettering coordinated with the colors used in each design.
The cake slices were created from a mix of colored cardstock and glitter cardstock. Layers of paper form the cake, frosting, candle, and other details. Each cake rests on a plate made from several concentric paper layers, including silver and white glitter cardstock. Gold glitter cardstock adds another detail around the plate and appears on the birthday candles.
The individual designs use a broad range of colors. The cakes include combinations of blue, cream, brown, red, pink, purple, orange, yellow, green, and neutral tones. Glitter cardstock is incorporated into the cake layers, giving each design additional contrast among the different paper elements. The Happy Birthday! greeting also changes color from card to card to coordinate with the artwork below it.
The three photographs documenting this donation show the cards at different stages of presentation. One shows all 10 card fronts together, making the individual color combinations and layered construction visible. Another shows the finished cards inside their protective sleeves. The coordinating embossed envelopes are also documented, with the circular Wicked Good Cards embossing visible on the envelope flaps.
These cards will be placed within care settings in Maine.
