Date: December 19, 2025

Cards donated: 14

Donated by: Shannon Cyr

Status: Accepted

These lobster-themed cards were received and accepted by Wicked Good Cards as part of a larger donation of 90 handmade cards on December 19, 2025.

Lobsters are deeply tied to Maine’s identity and everyday culture, making them instantly recognizable and approachable within local care communities. Cards like these offer a shared point of reference, something familiar that can spark connection without requiring emotional weight or explanation.

This group includes both traditional red lobsters and rare blue lobsters, which are often seen as symbols of individuality and good fortune. The designs allow the sender to choose a card that feels personal while still rooted in a sense of place.

With blank interiors, each card supports a wide range of uses. Patients, residents, caregivers, or staff can use them to offer encouragement, acknowledge effort, or simply share a small reminder of home and belonging.

These cards have been accepted into inventory and will be distributed by category based on partner needs and availability.
