Partner with Wicked Good Cards
Our mission at Wicked Good Cards™ is simple: to bring handmade cards to Mainers in need. We partner with Maine nonprofits that share our belief in the power of creativity to encourage, comfort, and connect.
Every card is crafted in our Southern Maine studio using premium, non-toxic materials. We never use glitter or loose embellishments, and all layers are securely adhered by hand to ensure safety and durability in care settings. From the first cut to the final layer, each card is made with intention and care, then left blank inside, ready for a caregiver, volunteer, or family member to fill with their own words of empathy, hope, or gratitude.
Our cards are more than paper and glue; they’re a meaningful resource that strengthens relationships, supports emotional well-being, and restores a sense of dignity in everyday moments of care. When someone receives a handmade card, connection becomes something they can hold.
We work exclusively with trusted Maine nonprofits to ensure every card reaches someone who could truly benefit from a moment of connection. There’s no cost to participate and no complex process to manage—just a shared commitment to bringing comfort and care to the people you serve
How Partnership Helps the People You Serve

Comfort You Can Hold
Each handmade card carries warmth, care, and genuine human connection. Every design is intentionally crafted and left blank inside so caregivers, volunteers, or family members can write words of comfort, encouragement, or gratitude that reflect their relationship and the moment they wish to honor.

Connection for Every Moment of Care
Our donated cards are designed for real people in everyday moments of need, whether it’s a patient recovering from illness, a family member experiencing loss, a caregiver after a long week, or someone rebuilding confidence after hardship. Each card offers a simple, personal way to extend empathy, encouragement, and connection.

Handmade Beauty That Brightens Care
Every card begins with a feeling — comfort, celebration, encouragement, or reflection — and transforms it into color, texture, and layered paper to create a one-of-a-kind design. Each card carries intention and care, bringing beauty and light into the spaces where people gather, heal, and connect.

No-Cost, High-Impact Support
Partnership ensures a steady supply of handmade cards, free of charge. Each card is ready to use whenever encouragement or recognition is needed, becoming a practical, meaningful resource that enhances your care programs without adding administrative burden or cost to families and caregivers.

A Shared Commitment to Community Care
Each partnership helps extend care beyond walls and programs, reaching the people who need comfort, connection, and encouragement the most. Together, we’re helping Mainers feel seen, valued, and supported — building a stronger, more connected community, one handmade card at a time.
Quality & Safety You Can Trust
Each Wicked Good Card is made with care in our Southern Maine studio, a closed, clean environment designed for safe material handling and consistent results. We use premium, non-toxic supplies that meet our safety and quality standards, and we avoid loose glitter, sequins, and other embellishments that could flake, shed, or cause sensitivity concerns.
Each card base is created in our studio from high-quality, heavyweight cardstock. We print the Wicked Good Cards logo directly onto the base using a Canon PIXMA PRO-100 printer with dye-based inks that are non-toxic, low-odor, and safe for use in care environments. Once printed, every base is scored, cut, and folded before the layered design is added. All cards measure 5x7 inches and are paired with premium white envelopes, chosen for their sturdy construction and reliable fit that protects each card.
All of our envelopes and the majority of our papers and materials are sourced through Michael’s, including Recollections™ and Encore® brands. We use acid-free, lignin-free, and colorfast cardstock to ensure archival quality and lasting durability. When a design includes shimmer, we select Encore® cardstock with a smooth, sealed finish that reflects light beautifully without loose particles or texture.
Paper layers are adhered by hand with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue, an acid-free, archival adhesive known for its strong hold, smooth finish, and long-term stability. Each card is inspected to ensure secure edges, clean surfaces, and consistent presentation suitable for any care setting.
This process ensures every card is safe, durable, and made to a high standard—ready to be shared, handled, and displayed without worry.
Who We Partner With
Wicked Good Cards partners exclusively with registered nonprofits. We build intentional partnerships with Maine-based nonprofits that care deeply about people and community. We focus on organizations that put compassion first: care facilities, shelters, group homes, hospice programs, and community centers that support Mainers facing illness, loss, hardship, or isolation.
Each partnership begins with a conversation. We take time to understand your mission and the people you serve so we can provide thoughtful, consistent support. This ensures every handmade card reaches someone who could truly benefit and helps us sustain the quality and care behind everything we create.
There’s no cost to partner with us — just a shared belief in the power of creativity to uplift, encourage, and connect people across Maine.
