Donated by: Shannon Cyr

Status: Accepted

These fish-themed encouragement cards were received and accepted by Wicked Good Cards as part of a larger donation of 90 handmade cards on December 19, 2025.

Imagery like this works well in care communities because it emphasizes personal agency and choice. The visual of fish moving together yet independently reinforces the idea that it’s okay to follow one’s own path, even within shared or challenging circumstances.

Cards with messages like “Go Your Own Way” can be especially meaningful for patients or residents navigating decisions, transitions, or changes in routine. Caregivers, family members, and staff may also use them to affirm autonomy, respect individuality, or offer encouragement without imposing direction.

With blank interiors, each card allows the sender to add words that fit the relationship and the moment—whether acknowledging independence, offering reassurance, or simply saying, “I support you.”

These cards have been accepted into inventory and will be distributed by category based on partner needs and availability.
